Amanda Bynes Graduates Fashion School After 5 Years

Amanda Bynes has graduated from fashion school in Los Angeles.

The former Nickelodeon star posted a photograph of herself on Monday with a fellow graduate, both wearing a cap and gown, with the caption “FIDM graduate 2019 #fidmgraduation.”

Graduation took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, where the actress and newly-graduated-fashion-student shared the evening with 12,000 other students at a ceremony.

She walked the stage with an Associate’s degree in fashion design.

We are told she is “extremely happy,” with the result and feels “relieved” to have graduated. Our source tells us it has “been a long time in the making but she finally graduated,”

She enrolled in 2014 and has attended ad-hoc classes due to various reasons, including rehab visits to focus on her own mental health. In November 2018 she was 4 years sober from drug use and has spoken openly about her depression and public mental breakdown during an interview with PAPER magazine.

In March this year, we reported that Amanda had “improved” since returning to rehab, and our source tells us she will “continuously,” better her mental health.
