Directed by Chris McKay, the film follows Dan Forester (Pratt), a father drafted to fight a war in the future.
The new trailer sees a group of time travelers appear in the middle of a football stadium and beseech the people of the past to join them in fighting an alien invasion.
The Tomorrow War was forced to abandon its hopes for a cinematic release due to the pandemic. In an interview with Digital Spy, Pratt implored audiences at home to turn off their phones before watching.
“”You can still have an amazing viewing experience watching this on Prime. I would just advocate: turn your phone off. Sit down, commit to watching all the way through.” Pratt said.
“You can do it in the comfort of your own home. Turn up the volume as loud as you can and watch on the biggest screen you can and really just allow yourself to be immersed in the story because that’s the intention. That was always the intention.”
The Tomorrow War arrives on Amazon Prime July 2.
