Anna Faris Texted Chris Pratt About His Engagement To Katherine Schwarzenegger

Anna Faris, the now-ex-wife of Chris Pratt, texted him to congratulate the Jurassic World star on his engagement with now-fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger.

On an episode of her Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast, she explained that Chris texted her and said “I proposed to Katherine last night,” and she said, “I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.’… and I texted him back, ‘Just wanted to remind you, I’m an ordained minister,”.

Over a year ago the former couple announced they were separating after eight years of marriage but would stay committed to amicably co-parent their 6-year-old son, Jack.

Anna has also entered into a new relationship with Michael Barrett, who’s a cinematographer. They met whilst filming the remake to Overboard — both new-couples have spent time together and even went trick-or-treating on Halloween.

During the episode, Anna went on to explain, “I knew that it was going to happen [the engagement]… I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other… they’re both f****** amazing people… the truth is there isn’t any bitterness.” — we’re happy for the couples and it shows that exes can be amicable.
