Anne Hathaway Cast in ‘The Idea Of You’ Film Adaptation

Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway has been cast in the film adaptation of popular romance novel The Idea Of You.

The novel written by Robinne Lee is being transformed into a film by Amazon Studios and Welle Entrainment.

Hathaway will play the role of Sophie, a 40-year old divorced mother who is struggling to deal with reality after her husband left her for a younger women.

Life for Sophie soon changes when she takes her 15-year-old daughter to Coachella. At the festival she meets the lead singer of the world’s biggest boy band.

Sophie and the singer soon realise they have chemistry and embark on a whirlwind romance.
