Anya Taylor-Joy And Ralph Fiennes Join ‘The Menu’

Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy have joined the cast of new film The Menu, directed by Mark Mylod.

Deadline reports that the acclaimed actors have recently closed deals to join the Searchlight film.

Fiennes – known for playing Voldemort in the Harry Potter franchise – will reportedly play an acclaimed chef working in an island restaurant. Anya Taylor-Joy, known for The Queen’s Gambit and Split, will play a young woman visiting the restaurant with her boyfriend.

Written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy and produced by Adam McKay, ‘The Menu‘ has been pegged as a comedy-horror.

Both Taylor-Joy and Fiennes have enjoyed a busy schedule over the past year.

Recently featuring in Netflix’s ‘The Dig‘, Fiennes will also make a return appearance as M in the latest James Bond film. Additionally, Fiennes will star in the latest installment of the Kingsmen franchise, ‘The King’s Man‘.

Taylor-Joy starred in the award winning Queen’s Gambit – released on Netflix in late 2020. She also featured in the latest film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel, Emma.
