Andrew Garfield Star In New Teaser For Netiflx’s ‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’
The film is based on “Jonathan Larson’s autobiographical pre- Rent musical”, Deadline reports.
Andrew Garfield will play the lead role of Jon, who is a young cheater composer who’s waiting tables at a New York City Diner in 1990” hoping to be “the next great American musical.”
The trailer that can be seen below shows Garfield signing “Boho Days”, which was the “title song when Larson first performed the musical, as a one-man show in 1990” the articles reports.

Directing the film will be Lin-Manuel Miranda who also was the creator of hit show, Hamilton. The screenplay will be by Steven Levenson, but based on Jonathan Larson’s musical.
