Aretha Franklin’s Son, Kecalf Franklin, In Jail After DUI Arrest

Kecalf Franklin, son of Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, is serving time in jail after he was arrested in October 2018 for a DUI offence. 

According to The Blast, Kecalf was arrested for driving under the influence on October 27, 2018 — weeks after his mother died.

His sentence was on December 19 and he was sentenced to a maximum of 93 days in jail after he was caught driving a motor vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol.

He won’t be released until February 26, 2019, and has been in custody since October 2018.
