Austin Seferian-Jenkins Arrested For Domestic Violence

Former NFL tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins has been arrested for misdemeanour domestic violence and felony harassment.
According to TMZ, Jenkins was taken into custody in Washington State at approximately 9pm on Friday (January 28). Further details surrounding the incident remain sparse, however, he is reportedly being held without bail.
Jenkins has faced trouble with the law on numerous occasions. In 2013 he was booked for a DUI in Seattle, resulting in his suspension from a Washington Huskies game.
He again found himself in trouble over a DUI in 2016, which ultimately resulted in his dismissal from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Though he went on to sign with the New York Jets in 2016, the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018, and the New England Patriots in 2019, his struggles with alcohol persisted.
Released from his contract with the Patriots before the start of the season, Jenkins did not return to football and in 2020 he received a third DUI citation.
