Bam Margera Sues For Loss Of Work Over ‘Jackass Forever’ Firing

Bam Margera has filed a lawsuit against the creators of ‘Jackass Forever‘ following his firing from the new film.
The defendants cited in the suit include Paramount Pictures, Jeffrey Tremaine, Spike Jonze and Johnny Knoxville.
Margera was fired after allegedly breaching the terms of his employment contract, which included a “wellness agreement”, and relapsing into drug use. Variety reports that he tested positive for Adderall shortly after signing with the film’s producers.
The lawsuit claims that Margera “has been the victim of unconscionable discrimination at the hands of the Defendants”. The filing goes on to compare the 41-year-old’s treatment to that of Britney Spears under a conservatorship.
In June, Jackass Forever director Jeff Tremaine was granted a restraining order against Margera due to ongoing harassment and threats from the daredevil.
Jackass Forever arrives in cinemas on September 3.
