Beyoncé has been accused of fraud by a woman that she has been in a legal battle with for years.

According to legal documentation, seen by unCrazed, Veronica Morales, a wedding planner by trade, has made new accusations against Beyoncé.

Veronica says that Beyoncé “committed fraud in signing and submitting” to the United States Patent and Trademark Office a sworn declaration that she had “a bona fide intention” to use the Blue Ivy Carter trademark in business.

The trademark dispute has been ongoing for years, with both parties attempting to claim the name Blue Ivy — the name of Bey’s daughter — Veronica claims she has used this name for business years before Beyoncé filed the trademark request.

Morales has accused Bey of refusing to hand over relevant documentation that provides evidence that she planned to use the trademark … she also says no interrogatory questions have been answered, claiming she “never produced any documents, tangible things, or other factual evidence in response to requests for production.”

Allegedly, Jay-Z has spoken to Vanity Fair where he claimed they wouldn’t be using the Blue Ivy name to sell products, and simply wanted to prevent others from profiting.

Within the court documents, Veronica says, “When considered together, the admission to Vanity Fair and the refusal to respond to any discovery responses is sufficient evidence to conclude that the Applicant’s intent all along is exactly what Jay Z said: to use trademark applications to prevent others from using [the] name of their daughter. This is fraud on the USPTO.”

Last year, Beyoncé accused Veronica of attempting to sell her company for $10 million to the singer, which Morales denies.

A request from Beyoncé’s legal team has been put forward to the court that demands a protective order be entered that prohibits Veronica or her team from making any confidential information publicly available.

The court battle began in 2017 and are scheduled to head to trial in the case.
