Bill Nighy And Michael Ward Cast In ‘The Beautiful Game’

Bill Nighy and Michael Ward have joined the cast of new Netflix film, ‘The Beautiful Game‘.

According to Deadline, Thea Sharrock is directing the new feature. Sharrock has previously worked on productions including The One and Only Ivan, Me Before You and Call The Midwife.

Frank Cottrell-Boyce is writing the script, which will follow a group of homeless footballers in England who compete for the Homeless World Cup.

Nighy and Ward will star, accompanied by Valeria Golino, Callum Scott Howells, Kit Young, Sheyi Cole, and Robin Nazari.

Graham Broadbent, Pete Czernin and Anita Overland will produce.

Empire reports that production of the new film has already begun in Rome, Italy.
