‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Begins Production

Kevin Feige revealed the news on Tuesday night at the Los Angles Global Fan Event for upcoming Marvel film Black Widow. 

Speaking with Variety about the start of production, Feige mentioned how the film would be done “in a way that would make Chad proud.” Star of Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman, tragically passed away last August after battling Colon Cancer.

Production began in Atlanta at the Pinewood Studios the Marvel Studios chief confirmed.

Details regarding the plot are unclear at this time but it’s been confirmed the original cast from the first movie will be returning. Ryan Coogler has also returned to direct the movie.

The film is set to release on July 8th 2022.
