Liam Neeson is reportedly producing a made-for tv movie sequel to 2011’s mystery-thriller ‘Unknown’ for TNT.
Neeson will be taking on the job of executive producer and will not be starring in the sequel.
The sequel will pick up from where the original story left off but with a new main character and storyline.
Neeson played the role of a doctor named Martin Harris in the original movie.
Harris’ car goes over a bridge leaving him unconscious. He wakes up in a hospital with partial amnesia. Harris then goes to find his wife but when he meets her, she claims she has never seen him before.
Very few details have been revealed about the possible sequel but Sean Finegan is reportedly writing the pilot.
TNT has had a lot of success with producing TV series’ based on movies.
