Stephen Lang returns as the blind killer, Norman Nordstrom in Don’t Breathe 2.

A sequel to the 2016 horror-thriller sees Nordstrom continuing to dole out his own brand of deadly justice – but this time he’s the one doing the saving.

Set eight years after the first film, Nordstrom has managed to find solace taking care of 13-year-old Phoenix (played by Madelyn Grace). When new intruders come to his home and threaten his surrogate family, the monster inside rears its head and begins its pursuit.

Co-creator, Rodo Sayagues directed and co-wrote the film with Fede Álvarez.

“In the first film, Norman had the upper hand,” Alvarez shared in an interview with IGN. “But this time the tables are turned and the invaders totally outnumber him. And he’s the one that will have to fight for his life against all odds.”

Sayagues described Nordstrom as the most interesting character. “He is a deeply wounded man, who has felt over and over again that life has betrayed him.” Sayagues elaborated.

Stephen Lang has previously featured in Avatar and is set to appear in the sequel, scheduled for 2022. Madelyn Grace is credited with appearances in Grey’s Anatomy and The Orville. Other cast members include Brendan Sexton III, Steffan Rhodri and Stephanie Arcila.
