Meghan McCain Leaving The View After Nearly Four Years
Meghan McCain has announced that she will be leaving The View at the end of the current season.
After appearing on the show for nearly four years, McCain stated that “this is going to be my last season” with sources saying that the decision was her own.
During her time on the show, The View has become the most watched day-time show. This in part down to Meghan getting involved in on-air feuds with her co-hosts. However sources say that this isn’t the reason behind her leaving the show.
Talking about the decision to leave the show came down to how her lifestyle changed during the pandemic. With the show continuing to film from the hosts homes, Meghan moved to Washington D.C and has developed a “Wonderful life” said McCain. She even mentioned how when the cast said goodbye to fans in the studio she found out she was pregnant.
Due to her new life in Washington D.C she has asked to be “released from her deal” as she doesn’t want to move back to New York.
