Blink-182 Bassist Mark Hoppus Reveals He Is Cancer Free

Musician Mark Hoppus has announced on social media that he has been given the all clear and is now cancer free. 

Hoppus announced earlier this year, in June that he had been undergoing chemotherepy for stage 4 lymphatic cancer.

While undergoing treatment, the musician continued to provide updates on his health to fans via his social media.

Now in a post uploaded to his Instagram, Hoppus has announced that he is cancer free.

“Just saw my oncologist and I’m cancer free!! Thank you god and everyone who sent support and kindness and love,” he wrote.

“Still have to get scanned every six months and it’ll take me until the end of the year to get back to normal but today is an amazing day,” he added.

Hoppus’, fellow bandmate Travis Barker also celebrated the news on Instagram with a story post captioned: “Love you @markhoppus. Best news brother!!!”
