Blue Origin Successfully Launches New Shepard Into Space
Blue Origin founded by Jeff Bezos completed its first successful crewed mission of the New Shepard suborbital tourism rocket. The crew landed successfully landed safely back to earth.
The four person crew consisted of Bezos who founded the spaceflight company, Jeff’s younger brother Mark, as well as the youngest and oldest people to ever to travel to space and back.
18-year old Oliver Daemen, purchased a ticket for the historic event, paying $28 million for the experience. Completing the passenger list was 82-year old aerospace pioneer Wally Funk.
Speaking pre flight about the event was the Amazon and Blue Origin founder. “I know it’s going to change me and I’m excited to find out how” CNN report.
