Bob Odenkirk Recovering In Hospital Following “Heart Related Incident”

Bob Odenkirk is in “stable condition” in hospital after collapsing on set the of Better Call Saul due to a “heart related incident”.
Odenkirk collapsed on Tuesday whilst filming in New Mexico. He was rushed to hospital but his condition was unknown until the early hours of this morning.
Bryan Cranston, a long-time friend and Breaking Bad co-star, asked fans on Instagram to “send positive thoughts and prayers”.

Taking to Twitter, Odenkirk’s son sought to assure fans before the official statement: “He’s going to be okay.”

“We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart related incident.” Read the statement from Odenkirk’s representative. “He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side.
“The Odenkirk’s would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”

Odenkirk stars in AMC series Better Call Saul – a spinoff from Breaking Bad which follows the evolution of Saul Goodman. The show hopes to premiere in 2022.
