US Government Have Sold Martin Shkreli’s $2 Million Wu-Tang Clan Album

The US Government have sold the only known copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s 2015 album ‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’.
The album was seized from Martin Shkreli often refereed to as “pharma bro” after his arrest in 2017 for conspiring to commit securities fraud.
According to a press release issued by the US Attorney’s Office Eastern District of New York, the album has been sold to a buyer for an undisclosed price.
The sale’s contract reportedly includes a confidentiality provision that protects any information in relation to the buyer and price.
The money earned from the sale will be used to settle Shkreli $7.4 million debut with the US government. Documents released by the court state that the sale has managed to fully pay off the debt.
‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’ was recorded in secret between 2007 and 2013. It became the most expensive record ever sold when Shkreli bought it at auction in 2015 for $2 million.
