Brian Laundrie, Wanted for Murder of Gabby Petito, Found Dead in North Port, Florida

Brian Laundrie, wanted for the murder of his fiancée Gabby Petito, has been found dead.
The 23-year-old murder suspect went missing shortly after returning to his Florida home without Petito. Her body was discovered amid their cross-country trip together, something that was heavily documented on social media.
According to law enforcement, remains were found on Wednesday at the Carlton Reserve in North Port, Florida just hours after the FBI recovered Laundrie‘s belongings during their search for him. His parents led the FBI to the unexplored trail which unearthed clothings, backpack and others items believed to have belonged to Brian.
Confirmation of the remains being Laundrie‘s comes from his family attorney, telling TMZ.com, “Chris and Roberta Laundrie have been informed that the remains found yesterday in the reserve are indeed Brian’s. We have no further comment at this time and we ask that you respect the Laundrie’s privacy at this time.”
