Chris Brown Brands Kyrie Irvinig A ‘Real Hero’ For Vaccine Stance

Chris Brown has shared his support of NBA player Kyrie Irving for his decision to remain unvaccinated.
In a since-removed post to Instagram, Brown wrote: “THE REAL HERO!!! I stand with my brother. WHOEVER DON’T LIKE IT… Go live your damn life.. IT’S HIS CHOICE AND A DAMN GOOD ONE. ALWAYS IN MY BROTHERS CORNER.”
Brown has not disclosed if he has received the COVID-19 vaccine himself.
On October 14, Brooklyn Nets player Irving said in an Instagram live video that he was neither pro-vaccine nor anti-vaccine.
“The financial consequences, I know I do not want to even do that,” said Irving. “But it is really that in order to be in New York City, in order to be on a team, I have to be vaccinated. I chose to be unvaccinated, and that was my choice, and I would ask you all to just respect that choice.”
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has since said that he believes Irving should get vaccinated.
“I’d tell him to get vaccinated, first and foremost for himself and his family. Next, for his teammates and his community,” said Silver. And also for the league that I know he cares so much about.”
