Britney Spears Announces Engagement
Britney Spears has announced that she is engaged to her long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari.
Spears is currently fighting to end her 13-year conservatorship which controls her private and financial life.
She revealed that some terms of the agreement included that she is not allowed to marry Sam or have more children.
Britney exposed the “abusive” conservatorship in a testimony in June.
After wanting to get married for a long time, but being unable to due to the arrangements, the singer has now posted a video of her ring to Instagram.

Asghari also posted a shot of the happy couple posing with the ring.

Each post was met with a wave of support and congratulations.
The news has also been confirmed by Asghari‘s manager, Brendan Cohen.
TMZ report that Cohen said “The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them.”
