Britney Spears’ Lawyer Files New Legal Documents Against Her Father

Britney Spears’ lawyer has filed new legal documents against her father Jamie, which accuse him of secretly recording the singer.

According to documents obtained by the New York Post, the singer’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart has accused Jamie Spears and others of reportedly “monitoring [Ms. Spears’s] communications”.

They added that the singer’s father reportedly recorded a number of conversations including ones with Britney’s previous lawyer and private conversations with her children.

“Unauthorised recording or monitoring of Britney’s private communications especially attorney-client communications, which are a sacrosanct part of the legal system represent an unconscionable and disgraceful violation of her privacy rights. and a striking example of the deprivation of her civil liberties,” Rosengart said in a statement to New York Post.

Rosengart also pointed out that in California, where the singers home is located, both parties must consent to the recoding of a conversation.

Therefore, it is possible that Jamie may have broken the law.

Last week, Rosengart submitted documents to the courts requesting for Spears’ conservatorship to end this fall.

The next hearing scheduled at court is on September 29, where a judge will decide whether to accept Britney’s request to have her father removed from her conservatorship.
