Britney Spears Granted Permanent Restraining Order Against Former Manager

Britney Spears has been granted a permanent restraining order against her former manager, Sam Lutfi.
On Thursday, a judge ruled in her favour, ordering Sam to stay at least 200 yards away from Britney, her parents and her children for five years.
Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, testified about a text message Sam sent to Jamie Lynn Spears’ husband, Jamie Watson. In the text message sent from Sam to Jamie Watson, he said he could help change the conservatorship so Lynn Spears would be in charge.
Jamie Watson forwarded the message onto Jamie Spears, leading him to contact his lawyer, and during his testimony, explained that he was upset that Sam was attacking his family in an attempt to “disassemble the conservatorship.”
Sam was Britney’s manager in the 2000s and her family blame him for her mental downfall in 2008, to which Sam sued her parents after Lynne accused him of being the “gatekeeper” and adding to Britney’s illness — both parties settled for an undisclosed amount.
