BTS Discuss Making Music In English And Pushing Boundaries

BTS have said in a new interview that they want to continue making music in English, explaining that language “doesn’t matter to us that much”.

The South Korean K-pop group have released three different English-language songs so far those being ‘Dynamite’, ‘Butter’ and ‘Permission to Dance’.

All three of which have managed to reach number on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

In a new interview with TIME, the BTS members explained their stance on releasing songs in English.

“Language doesn’t matter to us that much like [it did in] the past, I guess,” said the group’s leader RM.

“You know, we want to transcend everything, even ourselves too. I guess that’s the power of music, he added.”

RM then went on to explain that the group do not plan on restricting themselves or their music when it comes to genre, language or topics.

He added that there are no “borders, boundaries or limits” to their future releases.

Group member Jimin also recently said in an interview with Weverse Magazine that the groups success had stopped felling real. He also went to express his gratitude toward his fans support.
