Carole Baskin Confirms Sale Of Joe Exotic’s Former Zoo

Carole Baskin has confirmed that she has sold Joe Exotic’s former zoo and prevented it’s use for anything related to the Tiger King.

Baskin, who starred in the Netflix documentary series, has said that the property previously owned by Exotic will never be used as a zoo.

“When we sold the property in June, we required that it never be used as a zoo,” she told Yahoo News.

Her husband, Howard Baskin, also stated that a covenant had been written into the deed that states that the property cannot be associated with the show.

“If it became an RV park or storage unit. We don’t want it named the Tiger King RV Park,” he explained.

A judge granted Baskin control over Exotic’s former animal park back in 2020, to fulfil the $1 million judgment she won against him in their trademark lawsuit.

Joe Exotic is currently in prison serving a 22-year sentence for violating multiple wildlife laws and for his role in two murder-for-hire plots against Carole Baskin.
