Brad Pitt Seeking Review Of Child Custody Case With Ex Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt has filed a petition for a review of the ongoing child custody case with ex Angelina Jolie.
Pitt‘s attorneys have filed for a petition to review the child custody case with Jolie after Judge John Ouderkirk was disqualified from the case.
He was removed due to failing to adequately disclose business relationships with Pitt’s attorneys. It is unclear what dealings were not disclosed.
The removal of Ouderkirk effectively voids a previous ruling that granted Pitt more time with his and Jolie‘s five minor children.
PEOPLE obtained court documents of the filing. Lawyers have claimed that the elimination of Ouderkirk “effectively upended the constitutionally authorised temporary judging system in California”.
It has been stated that the judge was “improperly disqualified” following a “lengthy legal process” which involved numerous witnesses and experts.
The counsel say they are asking for a review “because the temporary judge, who had been appointed and repeatedly renewed by both sides, was improperly disqualified after providing a detailed, fact-based custodial decision, following a lengthy legal process with multiple witnesses and experts.”
