Cast Announced For ‘The Lost Boys’ Remake

Noah Jupe and Jaeden Martell are to star in Warner Bros‘ remake of The Lost Boys.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new film is written by Randy McKinnon and directed by Jonathan Entwistle. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger will produce the feature.
The original 1987 film, directed by Joel Schumacher, followed the story of two teenager brothers who move to Santa Clara, California. There, they discover a group of vampires has overtaken the town.
Further details on the remake are being kept under wraps, though it will allegedly be set in the modern day.
Noah Jupe is best known for his role as Marcus Abbott in the A Quiet Place franchise. He reprised his role earlier this year for the second installment, which achieved a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Jupe has also featured in acclaimed series’ such as The Night Manager and The Undoing.
Jaeden Martell made his break-out performance in 2017, starring as Bill Denbrough in It. He has also featured in the Stephen King adaptation, Knives Out and claimed the titular role in Apple’s series, Defending Jacob.
