Charli D’Amelio has been accused of profiting from a photographer’s work without permission.

D’Amelio, who boasts the biggest TikTok following in the world, released a book in December of 2020 entitled: ‘Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping It Real‘.

The book allegedly provides insight into D’Amelio’s life, success and childhood. It also offers advice on topics including cyberbullying and remaining positive.

Now in a series of since-deleted tweets, the photographer behind some of the pictures featured in D’Amelio’s book has accused the influencer of using them without permission.

“I can’t think about anything but the millions you made off my photos,” posted Jake Doolittle in response to a tweet by D’Amelio.

After receiving backlash for his comment, Doolittle wrote, “NOBODY asked to use my photos”.

“I was never told the photos would be in the book. A credit in a book means nothing when they don’t have your permission,” he added.

All of Doolittle’s tweets have since been deleted but screenshots can be found on Dexerto.
