Chris Brown Files Lawsuit Against Rape Accuser For Defamation
Chris Brown was released from custody on Tuesday and he said in an Instagram post that he later deleted, “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!”
Raphael Chiche, the lawyer for Chris, has filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman accusing Chris of rape.
In a complaint filed on Thursday, the title was “false accusation, committed on January 18, 2019,” — the allegations made against Chris were defamation of character according to his lawyer, and if the accuser is found guilty, the sentence carries a maximum timeframe of 1 year in prison.
Chris is still working in Paris on a new music video.
