Amazon is currently in talks with Chris Pratt as they hope to secure a sequel for The Tomorrow War after its huge success.

The Tomorrow War made its debut earlier this month July 2 and was watched by 2.4 million US households over its release weekend. The film was a huge success for Amazon, so it comes at no surprise that they are keen to secure a sequel.

According to Deadline, Amazon is currently in talks with Pratt and the whole creative team behind the film to bring them back for a possible sequel. Both director Chris McKay and screenwriter Zach Dean are reportedly also speaking to Amazon.

Amazon acquired The Tomorrow War from Skydance for $200 Million as part of their commitment to build an arsenal of streaming tentpole franchises.
