Chrissy Teigen Introduces A New Member Of The Family
Chrissy Teigen has introduced a new dog, Pearl, as the newest addition to her and John Legends family.
Chrissy posted a series of snaps of the floppy-eared Bassett Hound to her Instagram.
“Pearl has touched down into the legend/teigen/stephens household” she writes in the caption, “We love this little girl so much already but I will admit, she has definitely taken to John first!!”
The model also shared that the puppy is getting on with her other dog, Penny. “Penny is obsessed with her so it’s been fun watching the adventures of penny and pearl unfold.”

She reflects on being familiar with the breed as she grew up with Bassett Hounds: “I grew up with Basset Hounds so I can’t wait for John to see this bouncy, no-bones, jello mold of skin grow into the stubborn logs of love I love so much.”
“Excited for this new little heart to add love to our home,” the caption concludes, “Swipe for ear magic!”
The snaps she included in the post includes selfies posing with the pup, sitting on John‘s lap, and an adorable video of Pearl walking through their kitchen.
In the comments, Teigen pays tribute to their other dog Pippa, a 10-year-old French bulldog, who passed away a couple of weeks ago.
