Bob Odenkirk Hospitalised After Collapsing On ‘Better Call Saul’ Set

Actor Bob Odenkirk was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after unexpectedly collapsing on the set of Better Call Saul.
Odenkirk, who stars in the hit AMC series, is currently filming the sixth and final season of the show.
According to TMZ, Odenkirk collapsed on set in New Mexico and crew members rushed to call him an ambulance. The 58-year-old actor remains in hospital though the reason for his sudden collapse remains unknown.
Odenkirk shot to prominence after appearing in season 2 of Breaking Bad, which aired in 2009. He played Saul Goodman, a somewhat corrupt lawyer who finds himself entwined in the business of Walter White, A.K.A. Heisenberg. His character proved to be a reoccurring and popular presence in the show, who featured into its final season.
A spinoff series entitled Better Call Saul was created by showrunner Vince Gilligan. The show explores the development of Odenkirk’s character before the events of Breaking Bad. The series has so-far received 39 Emmy nominations.
Bob Odenkirk recently starred in Ilya Naishuller’s new film, Nobody. The story follows a seemingly ordinary man who becomes the target of a druglord after stepping in to defend a young woman.
