It seems the rumour that Christian Bale will return as Batman has circulated once again.

OK! magazine were the first to report a rumour stating an insider connected to Warner Bros. was able to confirm that Christian would reprise his role following an offer so big, he would find it “impossible” to refuse. The alleged offer summed $100,000,000 (est. £78,348,000) — but this information has been debunked.

In fact, Matt Reeves, writer and director of the upcoming Batman film, issued an update on the reboot and stated this film would be “separate from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight universe,” which basically means, Christian won’t be included.

In 2014, Christian himself admitted, “you’ve done [a fight sequence] 100 times and you’re just getting slower and slower, and sloppier,”.

On a trivia-final-note, the highest paid film actor, Robert Downey Jr., received $40,000,000 (est. £31,339,200) for Captain America: Civil War. Surely if this were true, the headlines would be Christian Bale Beats Robert Downey Jr. As Highest Paid Actor.
