Clayton Echard Confirmed As The Next ‘Bachelor’

ABC has confirmed that Clayton Echard will be the next Bachelor.

Announcing the casting in a new trailer, Echard is set to lead the 26th season of the hit reality series, due to air on January 3.

Rumours had circulated back in September that Echard might lead the newest season of The Bachelor after pictures appeared to show him filming for the show.

Echard featured in Michelle Young’s current season of The Bachelorette as a contestant.

The newest season of The Bachelor will be the first hosted by ex-NFL player Jesse Palmer, after Chris Harrison was removed from the series.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a brief career in the NFL, having signed with the Seattle Seahawks in July 2016 after playing for the University of Missouri.
