Nicolas Cage To Star As ‘Dracula’

Nicolas Cage has been cast as Dracula in Universal Monster movie Renfield, which is being directed by Chris McKay.
The 57-year-old actor is set to play the protagonist Renfield. The character of Renfield originates from Bram Stokers novel, Dracula (1897).
“It is unclear how Renfield takes on the dynamic as plot details are being kept in the coffin, but the project is described as a modern-day adventure story that is comedic in tone” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cage hasn’t been seen in any major movies recently, his latest role was in Michael Sarnoski’s Pig, a 2021 indie/drama film.
Fans have taken to Twitter to express their excitement for the new casting.
