Country Singer Dolly Parton To Release Her First Novel In 2022

Dolly Parton will release her first novel ‘Run, Rose Run‘ in 2022 with co-author James Patterson.

According to The Guardian, the story will follow a young woman who moves to Nashville, Tennessee in pursuit of a career in music. The book will be released in coalition with Parton’s next album and will feature lyrics from the record.

Her new album, by the same name, will feature 12 original songs based on events and characters in the book.

“It’s been an honour – and a hell of a lot of fun – to work with the inimitable Dolly Parton,” commented co-author, Patterson.

“The mind-blowing thing about this project is that reading the novel is enhanced by listening to the album and vice versa. It’s a really unique experience.”

Patterson has sold more than 300 million copies of his own works. His titles literary series include Alex Cross and The Women’s Murder Club.

The 75-year-old country singer has enjoyed a long and illustrious career and is famous for hits like Jolene and Island In The Stream.

Run, Rose, Run will be published on March 7, 2022.
