Busting the Headlines
Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston & Lisa Kudrow Pitching Friends Film?

Friends ended almost 15 years ago, but it’s still one of the biggest sitcoms to date, and Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow are said to be pitching ideas for a film.
Sadly, this is false news, and we are here to bust the headlines. Life & Style claim Courteney pitched an idea for a film, apparently, she did “her best to convince the cast of ‘Friends’ to film a special nearly 15 years after the hit series went off the air.”
If the tabloid were citing a real source, they believe “They want to do a movie, like Sex and The City did … Unlike a TV reboot, [a film] would allow everyone to work on other projects.” but allegedly, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer are “on the fence … [they are] worried it could ruin the essence of the original.”
We are suspicious about this story for several reasons; in the past, the cast has denied any rumours of a reboot or film, going as far to say they aren’t interested in working on Friends anymore.
Furthermore, the tabloid hasn’t mentioned any plot, which for a tipster to know the details of Courteney supposedly pitching an idea to the original cast, there should be a glimpse of information about the plot, right?
unCrazed spoke to our source linked to Warner Bros. that produced the original series, and their claim is, “if the cast were to be working on a spin-off, reboot or movie, it wouldn’t be done without the conversation taking place with Warner. A conversation has never taken place.”
David Crane spoke last year about a reunion, and simply said, it is “never happening.” but did confirm that Ross and Rachel are still together.
In summary, Friends won’t be making a return in any shape or form. We’re sure a Fresh Prince reunion will be rumoured soon, but that isn’t happening either.
