David Beckham Gives Control Of Instagram Account To Ukrainian Doctor

Former football player David Beckham relinquished control of his Instagram account for a day in order to raise awareness of the war in Ukraine.
The UNICEF ambassador gave Ukrainian doctor Iryna, who is working in the city of Kharkiv, access to the account.
Iryna is head of a regional perinatal centre and a child anaesthesiologist.
She shared pictures and videos to Beckham’s 71.8 million followers as Russia continue its invasion of Ukraine.
Identified only by her forename, Iryna said: “We are probably risking our lives, but we don’t think about it at all. We love our work.”
Kharkiv has been a focal point of Russia’s attacks for the last three weeks.
Beckham urged his followers to donate to UNICEF.
“Thanks to your donations, the oxygen generators they have received are helping newborns survive in appalling conditions,” he said.
