Delroy Lindo Cast In Neil Gaiman’s Series ‘Anansi Boys’

Delroy Lindo has joined Neil Gaiman’s new series ‘Anansi Boys‘ and is set to play the father of the leading character.
According to Empire, Lindo is the first name to be attached to the new project.
Anansi Boys is an adaptation of Gaiman’s novel by the same name.
The story follows a young man named Charlie Nancy, who is used to being embarrassed by his father (Lindo).
When he dies, Nancy realises his father was a trickster god named Anansi. He also discovers he has a brother, Spider, who becomes to determined to stir up Nancy’s life.
Gaiman is credited with the creation of ‘Good Omens‘, starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen.
Douglas Mackinnon, who directed for the Amazon series, will join Gaiman as a writer for the new show.
He is joined by Lenny Henry, Arvind Ethan David, Kara Smith and Rachael Ofori.
Hanelle M. Culpepper, Jermain Julien and Azhur Saleem will each direct for the series.
