Demi Lovato Claims ‘Aliens’ Is An Offensive Term

Demi Lovato has suggested that referring to extra-terrestrials as “aliens” is derogatory and that the word should no longer be used.

Speaking to E! News, Lovato responded to a fan comment which claimed they had an unreleased song called Aliens.

“I do not have a song called Aliens. I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything. I call them ETs,” they said.

The singer is currently promoting their new documentary series titled Unidentified.

In the series, Lovato and their friend Matthew Scott Montgomery explore various UFO hotspots and try to connect with beings from another planet.

Unidentified is available to stream now on Peacock.
