Demo Lovato will be the host of a new talk show set to debut on The Roku Channel. The new show will be titled ‘The Demi Lovato Show’.
‘The Demi Lovato Show’ will debut on The Roku Channel Friday July 30. The show had originally meant to debut on the Quibi platform back in February titled ‘Pillow Talk with Demi Lovato’.
However, Quibi shutdown in December 2020 and sold their entire content library to Roku for less then $100 million.
Each episode of the new show will be 10 minutes long and will see Lovato joined by a special guest where they will discuss “some of today’s edgiest social topics in frank and honest discussions”.
In a press release regarding the new show Lovato said.
“Some conversations can be difficult, but I’ve never been one to shy away from speaking candidly about things.”
“We wanted to create a space that normalises living your own truth – where people can speak, engage and more importantly, learn, together. There’s something therapeutic about having raw discussions that people can relate to, and with The Demi Lovato Show no topics are off limits and opinions are welcome.”
Lovato recently released her seventh studio album ‘Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over’ in April. She also recently hosted a YouTube Pride livestream event last week.
