‘Knives Out’ Sequel Begins Production In Greece

The sequel to Rian Johnson’s 2019 hit, Knives Out is in production, as set photos reveal the costumed cast filming in Greece.
Johnson returns to write and direct the new installment which will see Daniel Craig reprise the role of Benoit Blanc. New cast members include Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn and Janelle Monáe,
Johnson shared the first on-set picture from Greece on his Twitter.
“Aaaaaaaand WE’RE OFF! Day one of filming on the next Benoit Blanc mystery.” Wrote the 47-year-old director. “Thanks to all the lovely patient people here in Greece for letting us do all this murdering on their peaceful shores.”

While the second film is still in production, the third installment of the franchise has already been confirmed after Netflix purchased the rights to the film.
Knives Out 2 is pegged for a 2022 release date.
