Dior Postpones Travis Scott Collaboration Indefinitely

Travis Scott is no longer collaborating with the luxury fashion brand Dior.
Following the devastating Astroworld tragedy, Dior has announced that Scott’s ‘Cactus Jack‘ collaboration with the brand is no longer set to go ahead.
In a statement issued to WWD, the luxury fashion brand said: “Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection.”
Travis’s team told the publication that the postponing of the collection was a mutual decision between the brand and the rapper.
The collab, set to launch in January 2022, would have marked “the first time Dior partnered with a musician on a collection and the first time it ever allowed its logo to be altered”
This latest postponement comes as several other companies pull out of or otherwise delay their agreements with Travis.
The 30-year-old has also been removed as a headliner from Coachella – you can read more about this here.
Investigations into the events at Astroworld are ongoing.
