Donald Trump Asked His Justice Department To Stop ‘SNL’ Mocking Him

Former U.S. president Donald Trump reportedly asked the Justice Department if they could do anything to stop SNL from mocking him.
According to The Daily Beast, Trump made the request after one of his Twitter tirades in which hit out at the comedy show.
Trump tweeted in March 2019.
“It’s truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of ‘the other side.’ Like an advertisement without consequences. Same with Late Night Shows. Should Federal Election Commission and/or FCC look into this?”
The tweet came shortly after Alec Baldwin’s segment in the show in which he portrayed Donald Trump in not-so flattering manner.
Beast, claim that Trump called the DOJ and FCC to “probe or mitigate SNL, Jimmy Kimmel, and other late-night comedy mischief-makers.”
SNL have not yet made a comment on the claims.
