Drake Bell Pleads Guilty To Attempted Child Endangerment

Former Nickelodeon actor Drake Bell has pleaded guilty to attempted child endangerment and is facing up to two years in prison.
The actor was charged earlier this month with attempted child endangerment and disseminating harmful material to chidden.
According to a report by the New York Times, the charges are in relation to a child Bell met online and who later attended one of his concerts in Cleveland in 2017.
The child was 15-years-old at the time and in 2018, she filed a report at her home police department in Canada.
Cleveland police conducted an investigation and found that Bell and the girl had “established a relationship” several years prior to the concert visit.
Bell also allegedly sent “inappropriate social media messages” to the minor. He had initially pleaded not guilty before entering into a plea deal during a virtual court hearing yesterday.
The hearing for Bell’s sentencing is scheduled for July 12 and he could face up to two years in prison if given the maximum sentence.
