Elizabeth Olsen Talks About Her ‘Game Of Thrones’ Audition

Talking with The Hollywood Reporter on the Awards Chatter Podcast, Elizabeth Olsen was reminded of her Game of Thrones audition.

The Marvel star auditioned for the role of Daenerys Targaryen but never received a call back, as the actress revealed saying her audition was “awful.”

Emilia Clarke was later cast in the role. 

Talking further about the day, she said that she auditioned in a “small room in New York”, adding that she did the “Khaleesi speech when she comes out of the fire.”

Since this, Elizabeth has gone on to become a breakout star with her biggest role coming as Marvel character Wanda Maximoff.
