Dua Lipa Turns Down Invite To This Year’s Met Gala

Dua Lipa has turned down an invite to this year’s Met Gala because she is busy shooting for her first movie.

According to sources that spoke to TMZ, the singer was among a number of celebrities invited to the famous fundraising ball, which will be held in NYC this month on September 13.

However, Lipa reportedly declined the invitation because she is currently too busy filming for her acting debut in the upcoming action film Argylle.

Filming on the movie is thought to have kicked off last month, which will see Lipa star alongside the likes of Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Even without Lipa, this year’s Met Gala will feature a number of huge names, with rumoured attendees that include Beyonce, Kim Kardashian West and Lewis Hamilton.
