Dwayne Johnson Says He’d Like To Play ‘James Bond’

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson  has revealed that he wants to play the next James Bond. 

In a new interview with Esquire, the actor has talks his friendship with Kevin Hart, his cheat meals, and his interest in playing the next secret agent.

He shares that his grandfather Peter Maivia starred in the franchise as a villain in the 1967 You Only Live Twice alongside Sean Connery.

“Yes, my grandfather was a Bond villain in You Only Live Twice with Sean Connery. Very, very cool,” he says.

Johnson states that he doesn’t want to be a villain like his grandfather.

“I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don’t want to be a villain. Gotta be Bond.”
