Speculation has been raised as to whether Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi would ever have children for many years.

OK! published a story stating the spouses are set to become parents — but that isn’t true.

Their “source,” tells them, “After talking about babies for the longest time, they finally went the IVF route with the help of a male donor, and are happily telling friends, ‘We’re going to be moms!”

Furthering the fabricated story, their alleged “source,” explains the identity of the donor will remain secret, but people within their circle of friends are saying, “he may be a famous comedian.” — apparently, “Portia wants to go through the whole pregnancy process, so they’re using her eggs, which they previously had frozen. Ellen‘s fine with it. She likes to joke that if the baby is going to look like one of them, she wants it to be Portia!”

Baby names, you ask? Well, if this story was true, apparently, according to OK!‘s “source,”, “Ellen loves ‘Jennifer’ if it’s a girl, named for their best friend Jennifer Aniston … and ‘Orly’ if it’s a boy, for Orlando Bloom because he’s sweet and gorgeous.”

In 2016, Ellen made it clear they weren’t going to have children, saying in an interview, “we just decided we like our conversations not being interrupted and our furniture without sticky grape juice on it.” Ellen also believes being a famous parent “can be really tough for children.”

Portia herself confirmed why they don’t have children either.

Rounding up: Ellen and Portia aren’t having children.
